Padlock, 100% printable with skeleton key, no hardware required.

No supports needed.

All print files are in their correct orientation for printing.

Key shaft will require a brim for print stability. Print the shaft with at least 4 perimeters. Superglue the shaft with the handle, they are both keyed for easier alignment.

Detent spring sits in the detent spring seat in Body B, detent facing up. It should fit nice and snug, if not add a bit of grease to keep it in place ready for assembly.

Fit the locking mechanism with a dab of grease to keep it in place and place the shackle in place on Body A, as shown in the photo description. Now align both Body A and Body B with all parts installed and superglue together. Last but not least superglue the open source decal on the front of the padlock, there are locating pins and holes to make it easier for alignment.

The padlock in the photo description was printed with 2 manual colour changes on Body A&B, printed in gold filament with the first black colour change paused at 1.2mm, and second colour change back to gold paused at 3.2mm. I find if you do this it shows off the rivet holes better and also gives it some nice pint stripes to break up the solid colour. But I'm looking forward to seeing everyone else's colour choices.

Happy printing.
