Bioluminescence is a natural phenomenon that never ceases to amaze, especially in fungi. This is a model inspired by the bioluminescent mushroom Mycena singeri and uses a glow-in-the-dark filament.
- Keep your potted plants company with a little fungal light
- Plant them in your garden to mark paths at night
- Place them in your bedroom for company and as a night light
How to
- Print with glow-in-the-dark filament
- Cut a piece of filament around 15cm long from the spool
- Melt one side of the filament with a lighter and insert it into the hole at the bottom of the mushroom cap
- Optionally melt the bases of the mushrooms together.
How to Mossarium option:
- Print the mossarium base and adapter, screw on the adapter
- Insert the mushroom filaments in the base holes
- Go for a moss hunt, you can find it in nature or even in cities in non directly lit places.
- Gather some with a knife or spatula.
- Place it in the mossarium and mist with water from time to time.
