Description

This is the air dome for the autopot system. Same size as the original and prints with minimal supports. This design has holes in the middle of the + air bubbler to replace the blue hoses that autopot sells. Hook an air pump up to it and it blows more bubbles than an airstone. Use this with the autopot air base: https://makerworld.com/en/models/56624#profileId-58263

Bottom left plant I this printed airdome and it seems to be growing better than the rest of the original airdomes! 🥳 Thanks for sharing and greetings from South Africa 🙏

Replying to @2asd1asd :
these were all different strains so the yield was very different throughout. im using them again for my next run of mostly Ethos

Printed without supports due to comments. As a result, the connection for the hose is not perfectly round. However, it still works. I made the connection round inside with a drill

came out great. saw a previous post about support issues so I printed this without any. had some stringing near the top on the underside because of it but it does nothing to the function. printed in generic petg and I show it with an airbase model I got from here as well. going to test how well the air function works but I don't mind running an airstone if not as good. still a great print and great to have an extra on hand

great print in ABS, I already made a few of them and they work great.

@SenorMichael , please think before you write, this is an STL file, where you place any support is your business and your slicer's, the file itself is absolutely fine. If support is placed in the wrong places, it is due to your inability to operate your slicer. To rate it poorly because of that is truly more than unfair

Thank you for your feedback However there is a fundamental misunderstanding here that I would like to clarify As mentioned in my review I did not download the STL file but rather the 3MF file from MakerWorld Unlike a plain STL file which only contains the 3D model a 3MF file includes a complete print profile with all slicer settings The support structures and other parameters I criticized were therefore explicitly configured by you in the file It therefore has nothing to do with 'my inability to operate the slicer' I deliberately relied on the profile you provided – that is precisely the purpose of a ready-made 3MF profile on MakerWorld If this profile is flawed then my review refers to this deficient overall package The review is therefore absolutely justified

Support Issue:It works, but AFTER I printed it, I wondered why so less air is coming out. I checked the slicer and found the support inside the pipes. For a print ready file this is very anoying, also i would design it different to print it better.

The airdome is slightly smaller or lower than the hole in the base, but this can be adjusted by pressing it into the hole in the base and carefully placing the substrate over it. Otherwise the model makes a very good impression, thank you very much!

The OEM air domes are the exact same size. You must have never used a real one to compare them.
