These baby dinosaurs can bite. This is my new free design and is can be printable without supports. The 3D-printed spring allows its mouth to open wide and gives it a surprisingly strong bite.

I have already published the tutorial

https://www.instagram.com/reel/C-FzpRuNKqv/?igsh=d2FxNWNpYnAwZWEz

Now it has 3d printed spring. Just snap parts together.

Please, post images of your prints here; I’d love to see them!

Thank you!

how were the tolerances on the upscaled one?.. I've experienced some models where things can start to get loose when you upscale

I printed it at 300% scale I put a spring inside its mouth with two screws to make it close and clamp it turned out great

How did you manage to get your head in order It's only scaled to the original size and even at the original it's too heavy

In reality it is true that if you move the head it turns by itself but if you leave it centered it does not move but anyway if you put a little paper into the body's joint where the head fits it makes the movement more rigid and more snug The spring was my own invention because otherwise it would not be possible to make it close its mouth

Love this model, the overbite is perfectly goofy! It's a great design too, and went together really well with some superglue.

Just a heads up the Bambu part linked will keep the mouth open not closed, it does not match the pictured spring which I think I / we may all have on a clothes peg somewhere ..... Darn it my cloth's peg spring is just a little too large in diameter. The Bambu part 2x18mm Stainless Steel Dowel Pin works well if you do not have a nail at hand and have the Bambu maker's kit.

Hello. I advise you to bend the bamboo spring to reduce the degree. But I think it's better to find a small decorative paperclip in stationery

Decorative paperclip is the way to go! After a while forcing the Bambu spring into different configurations I am unable to make it do what we need.

Absolutely fantastic print. The only issue I had was that it required a bit more glue than I would have liked, and getting the spring into place took some pliers and a set of side cutters to wedge it in position. Other than that, we love them. I did find that the springs on these clothes pins worked really well: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08RZ1C9K4 I love the glow in the dark T-Rex. We are going to print these in a ton of colors and stash them all over the house.

It really is. We love it so much. I made a Halloween version that took a LOT of work and a ton of filament to get it right. Regardless, it's kind of not worth it. I just copied the jaw/teeth set to another plate, set the teeth to the right color, then set it to print by layer instead of object. Tweaking the amount of runout was the hardest part and I ended up with WAY more poop than product, but it was a fun thing to do once. Probably won't do it again. :)

Hello I have a problem with the new model the pin that needs to be glued to attach the head to the body is extremely fragile and breaks immediately forcing me to reprint both the lower jaw and the pin itself this element should be reinforced

With both supports, one of the two pin tabs breaks off immediately I started the print from the phone app I'm out right now, but I'll send you photos as soon as I can I gave your model two boosts because it's beautiful, but this issue is a real nuisance
