Dummy Spider / Iron-spider
Dummy dreamt of becoming Iron-Spider…
As a huge fan—bordering on obsessive—of repeatedly printing the excellent Dummy, an incredible creation by Lucky 13 Toys, I was inspired by the version of the Articulated Spider and thus wanted to add our friend’s hairy little legs to Dummy’s back.
Therefore, I created a piece for the back and modified the leg parts to better match the Iron-spider theme
PRE-REQUISITES:
✔ A thoroughly cleaned and calibrated printer.
✔ A clean print bed (with isopropyl alcohol or soap if necessary) to ensure good adhesion.
✔ Hairspray or glue stick for even better adherence.
✔ High-quality filament… otherwise, imagine it in cardboard 😅.
PRINTING:
Printed in PLA+, I experienced no breakage during assembly. It is therefore advisable, even strongly recommended, to use at least PLA+, or even PETG (or an even more resistant material for improved durability).
