Description

ENGLISH:

Augmented reality cube from the Merge Cube company to enhance your classes or presentations.

With the camera of your device you scan the cube and through the applications offered by the company it shows you a three-dimensional representation. You can upload your own models to their server to be able to view them, so you can create your own compositions and give an extra dynamism to your classes or presentations. It also serves for parents as reinforcement to the explanations in the homework and studies of their children or simply to play and experiment.

You have all the information on their website: https://mergeedu.com/cube?cr=5020

The company has a pdf available to be able to print it on paper, but this ends up being damaged easily and, having the possibility of doing it with our machines, it is much more advisable.

The printing is very simple, we were inspired by Saturdayxiii's model on Thingiverse ( https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4436613 ) especially the inner support of the cube as it seemed simple, quick to print and at the same time sufficiently useful to support the structure of the cube. We have created the model to be able to be printed on one side only taking advantage of the multicolour of the AMS but the original model could be printed with a colour change.

To save filament in the colour change, we have used the inner piece to purge the filament in it and thus reduce the purge tower.

Printing instructions:

Layer height: 0.20

Top and bottom layers: 5

Walls: 3 (top and bottom only 1 to make it more aesthetic)

Infill: 15% gyroid but in this case, the top and bottom layers make the piece solid and 100%

no supports needed

Printed on two plates

Speed has been reduced to improve detail definition

Weight: 21 grams of white and 37 of black including purges

Material: PLA

Printing time with Bamboo x1: 4 hours and 39 minutes

no necesita soportes
