After looking around for the perfect 200mm x 200mm frame for my hueforge I decided to design my own, so this is my take…
I have got a small collection of displates and love how these are mounted to the wall, so I used the idea of the magnet tape and created this frame in that you can add a pair of sticky magnets one to the wall using a small amount of masking tape on your wall then applying the one of the sticky magnets to the wall, the 2nd part of the pair then sticks to this frame.
You can now offer up the frame to the wall. and boom nice clean frame and no holes in the wall, need to move the frame? no problem peel off the masking tape and move it….
How does the hueforge stay in the frame I hear you say… well there is 4 small pins that you can slide the hueforge past that will hold it in place, need to push it out? no problem, hold the frame and push the hueforge out using the hex holes in the back of the frame.
