Side Hanger for Dyson V7, V8 and others
I use this Makita adapter (which is amazing) for my Dyson V8 vacuums. I have two vacuums, one is stored in an IKEA 32mm holes in the Sektion cabinets and the other is wall-mounted and uses screws.
The Makita 18v - 4AH batteries seem to last 2-4 times longer. It lasts multiple days of normal quick house cleanup!
Thus, there are two options in profiles:
- IKEA 32mm - this uses one screw (or bolt and nut) and a 5mm dowel pin that typically comes with the shelving.
- Wall Mount - two 82° screws or walldogs (below).

Screws
Two screws are not needed but keep the holder from spinning.
- Studs – #10 flat head wood screws with 82° bevel
- Drywall – Walldogs (amazing, hold 50 lbs each)
