Description

UPDATE April 2026:

Added Type B (Type A with ground)

Added Type I added (grounded and ungrounded)

Special thanks to user_3804057878 for the photos and for being a beta tester!

BIG UPDATE Jan. 2025:

  • The mechanism that secures the pins is considerably less likely to break.
  • I gave the model a 10-degree angle to combat gravity. (I still provide a flat version in the profile)
  • I also rotated the plugs 90 degrees. Again to reduce the risk of the plugs falling out.

The profiles consist of three models. Please choose the one you prefer.

UPDATE Sept. 2024:  A 5x5 grid was added for the A1 mini.

This is a simple support for all my USB blocks. I used six 3M Command Velcro strips to hang it on the wall. (4 is probably enough).

For commercial prints, please ask for permission before selling.

Of course! Do your USB charger blocks usually have 2 prongs or 3 prongs? Is it necessary to make all 3 holes? I see both on Google.

Replying to @Marvin_A :
Yeah 3 prongs are usually the safe bet not all chargers use all three but some do. Your a legend thanks heaps

Done! You now have two Type I versions available in Customization. Click Customize, then select the Type I option (grounded or ungrounded), choose the maximum size for the plate and for each block. I tested the ungrounded version, since I don’t have any Type I plugs with the ground pin. I’d suggest setting all parameters to 60 mm first and printing the 1x1 block result as a test. It may not be the best idea to print a full bed and then realize that half of the plugs don’t fit. 😊 If everything works perfectly, I’d really appreciate some feedback — and maybe even a few photos. Happy printing!

Please make an A1 mini version! I had to split a row off for it to fit the bed, But its a great print, even after everything I've printed since i got my A1's this may even be my wifes favorite.

Hi! I've created a profile for a 5x5 grid that appears to be functioning well for the A1 mini. If someone prints it, let me know if everything looks good on the mini. If you can, please send an image here; I'll update the profile's photo to demonstrate its printability. Happy printing!

Is there any way you can make the Fusion 360 file downloadable? I would like to modify this to include a third grounding receptacle for 3 pronged plugs. I'm trying to create a single plug receptacle for my Multiboard set up.
