perfect print! no issues whatsoever! printed in ABS (so i can throw it in the dishwasher) and used an adaptive layer height (down to 0.08 mm) to smooth out layer steps. perfect!

I recommend PETG instead; ABS could harm your pet

I have printed the entire assembly, yet when the water bottle is placed directly, it empties completely. I am unsure whether I am making an error or if the design is flawed

“Thank you very much for this design. I will print many of them and distribute them in my forest so that the animals have water during the hot summer.”

this is a beautiful idea, love it! but please keep in mind that these waterbottles can cause wildfires. the water in the bottles combined with it's shape creates a lens that can focus sunlight to a point which can ignite fires. it's an actual survival technique to start a campfire! please still proceed with your plans but keep that in mind and maybe just spraypaint the bottles or wrap some tape around it to eliminate this risk. maybe i'm overly cautious and it's no issue where you live but where i'm living wildfires get started because of this every year. just wanted to let you know and i love the idea :) cheers

Yes, thank you for the tips. Up until now I had made small roofs out of wood and put small bowls inside so that they were in the shade and the water didn't get hot. Now I can enlarge the roofs and put the new bowls with the tank underneath and then I don't have to worry that if I don't have time one day the water will run out. I will definitely test it now. Thank you very much for making it so quickly. I printed it out and tried it out. Now I can choose the amount I have to provide depending on how it is received. But our many pets will definitely be happy too. Best wishes

printed well in PETG, just needed the provided adapter to make it work with a regular water bottle

It fits perfectly with the standard 5-liter water bottle sold in Brazil 🇧🇷 (not the one in the picture) I suggest creating a model with a hollow base (that can be opened) to fill with sand This will use very little filament and will be heavy enough

Printed this with the smaller adapter for my brother and it works beautifully! The legs slip in nicely, although one doesn't stay in (user error on my end and not the print itself.) Thanks for making such an amazing and clean design available!

I'm glad you like it! Maybe some glue can help with the leg 😊

Very good, could you also draw an adapter from the large diameter to the smaller one? I would like to place a smaller bottle on the large bowl, and that would be perfect for me

I have made a V2 print profile with a larger bowl for the small version at someone's request. Is that enough for you or do you want the same bowl size?

But I can also make an adapter so you don't have to print the whole bowl again. Stay tuned!
