I created a light switch mod for part 6 of the AMS Riser V2 from maCyo42 for the P1S and P1P

I used the following parts for this:

4x thread inserts M3x4x5
2x M3 countersunk screws 4mm
2x M3 countersunk screw 10mm
1x mini pressure switch

1x LED strip

Awesome addition to the Riser v2 and P1S! I love this mod. The designer was quick to respond to my message and he helped tweak the model to fit my LED's. Thank you so mich!

Excellent design, quick wiring photo for those unfamiliar. Positive to the switch, negative direct to the strip, hope that helps.

Please fix the supports! On the large piece, the slicer starts most of the trees in mid-air?? P1P w/BBL slicer. Big mess, with nozzle crashes and stringing everywhere. I paused the print a few times to prune some trees so it was level enough for the interface. The print came out mostly fine with some small defects. Very hard to remove supports even w/scraper and very rough surface underneath. The original uses normal supports which printed and removed very neatly and left a much nicer surface.

Great design and prints straightforward. My only issue is the highlight colour (in my case yellow on black) tends to have some bleed through. I redesigned the light globe logo so it is larger and has more colour layers which improved the situation.

Do you have the STL for the cover on the left side with the different colored SD card and "Bambu Lab"?

Thanks for sharing! Super excited to get this build completed. Any chance you could share how/where you routed the USB cable for power?

I'm very thankful for this mod because the useless hole underneath of it drove me crazy and being able to just push a button to turn off my lights is awesome.

I only see blank on the original, except for the SD card cover. Everything is printed there, but nothing on the larger panels with Bambu Lab and P1S.

On my original, only blank is displayed. Except for the SD card cover. Everything is printed on it, only on the large bezels with Bambu Lab and P1S nothing is printed.

Does that work with the LED strip? It's always written that the USB port may only be loaded with 1.5 A, but the strip has 2 A according to Amazon... what are your experiences with it

Okay, did you have to extend the cable or is the length sufficient I mean, you have to solder anyway, but otherwise I'll have to order more cables:) Thanks in advance for the quick response

thanks for the switch design. I've bought the pressure switches but I'm trying to use this in another more low profile riser . I'll need to redesign the switch assembly print to suit the riser switch compartment in the other riser. I tried using your step and 3mf files but there it will only import as a mesh file and won't convert to solid no matter what I do, making it impossible to modify. Is there anyway you can provide a editable version of that part? Thanks! Btw, this is the riser i'm trying to use your switch design on. https://makerworld.com/en/models/152071?from=search#profileId-166724 I'll have your pressure button top facing, where the lightbulb symbol goes.
