Description

Hello all,

after a long search here on makerworld i was not able to find a suitable 64x64 matrix led holder/stand for my use.

So i decided to design my own one in CATIA. In case you are also in the need of it feel free to grab it.

It is easy to assemble and you only need in addition:

  • M3x10 screws
  • 4 Buttons
  • USB-C mounting device with 26mm diameter
  • Superglue and heatglue

Assembly:

Put the very thin “Milchglas” in the 64x64 front file. Milchglas needs to be printed in transparent or semi transparent material. Then screw the Frame on top of the pico holder and this then on the rgb matrix backside with the m3 screws. You can put this into the 64x64 front file then. You either glue the Milchglas before into the front or just leave it. Depending on your style. If everything is assembled in the front file, i recommend to glue it now in all 4 corners with the heatglue. Even something fails afterwards its easy to remove and very stable.

If you use the buton part, then now the right time for wiring and put all needed wires throught the holes in the back of 64x64 back.

You can now just put all left parts together and either use superglue or double sided tape. Worked both for me.

Finished!
