Description

I wanted a bike mount for my Pixel 7 with the Spigen case.

After searching for different models, none was satisfying or didn't work

I simply used the idea from maxwxyz but I’ve redone the whole design from scratch with Onshape by adapting the measurement for a Pixel 7 and the stem from my bike.

I adapted the design so i can fit the stem from my Giant Revolt but it must be compatible with others.

I've been daily driving this for about 100km with no issues on the road.

Update 2024-08-30

I adjusted the tolerances so the phone dont wobble when going throught rough roads.

I also made more space on the side so the “Volume down” button is now fully accessible.

BENEFITS:

  • Easy to insert / remove the phone
  • No need to remove the phone’s cover
  • Leave full access to the screen and charge port
  • Phone is secured in place

BOM:

Those can be bought from Amazon https://a.co/d/30FpDG2

  • 2pcs M3 x 12mm countersunk screw
  • 2pcs M3 x 16 screw
  • 4pcs M3 x 20 Nuts **can be replaced with Lock nut

PRINTING:

  • Nozzle: 0.4mm
  • Layer Height: 0.2mm
  • Walls: 4+
  • Infill: Gyroid
  • Infill : 15%
  • Brims: Disabled
  • Textured PEI plate
  • No support

Keep the profile's orientation and settings for better strenght.

I used Sunlu PLA+ which is strong enough, but PETG / ABS could be a better option for hot summer.

ASSEMBLING:

  • Insert each of the M3 Nuts inside the holes from the “top Bracket”

  • Use the M3 countersunk screws to secure the “phone mount” to the “top bracket”

**I highly recommend using Loctite on those bolts to prevent them from becoming loose over the time**

**Disclaimer** This is not meant to be used on mounting bike. I hold no responsibility for any damage. Follow the instruction / profile settings and filament choice to ensure proper strength **Disclaimer**
