Description
The updated version of my simple wide nozzle
Update :
Added a reinforced version in a new print profile and pictures with it after the old pictures.
Use that only if you are an experienced user or at your own risk because the geometry on top and vibrations causes the print head to stumble and topple the nozzle. It happened to me twice before I tweaked the profile to what it is now and managed to have a successful print. I added a modifier to reduce the speed a lot at the top. This might also cause that area to look different (usually shinier)
The improvements:
- it has notches on the side to prevent motor protection stop that happens on “sticky” surfaces like bed sheets, table cloth, smooth floor tiles, etc.
- It's also 10mm wider
- 3D model is smoother
Note: The print profile I uploaded is slow because my filament looks very different depending on speed(from matte to shiny) and I chose a slow speed for the whole part. You can definitely print it much faster.
