Modifications:
- The side clips have been rendered more flexible, thereby enhancing their durability.
- The cover has been slightly thickened.
- Naturally, my sole remaining cover succumbed during patio cleaning.
- The hardware store lacked stock, necessitating the deployment of the 3D printer.
The discovered model proved unsatisfactory in practice, prompting several refinements based on the STL file from Printables.
- 3D printing
Given the frequent ground contact of the rotating cap during brush cutter operation, a 100% infill is strongly recommended for enhanced longevity.
- Material
- PETG or ASA. Other suitable materials may exist, but remain untested.

- Adjustments:
- The side clips were made more flexible and therefore more durable.
The lid has been made slightly thicker.
- Of course, my only cap failed when cleaning the patio.
- The DIY store had nothing in stock, so the 3D printer had to be used.
The model I found didn't suit me in practice, so I made a few improvements based on the stl file from Printables.
- 3D printing
Since the rotating cap often comes into contact with the ground when working with the brush cutter, it should be printed with an infill of 100% if possible. It lasts longer.
- Material
- PETG or ASA. There may be more suitable materials, but I haven't tried them yet.
