The ultimate silica gel holder. 1,5h on speed X quality optimized PETG profile. <1h on PLA or ludicrous PETG speed.

Perfect where it needs to and fast wherever it is possible..

 

AMS USER's NOTES:

They were originally intended for storage in hermetic bags, so if you look for keeping them in spinning rolls in AMS, then it may be worth to add up 1-3% to scale it up, to only then fit more tightly.

 

Why this is the ultimate one? You will NOT need to look any further.

  1. Cheap: 18g of filament on flawless profile = no wasted imperfect prints.
  2. Fast: 1.5h on perfectionist's PETG profile. <1h on ludicrous speed.
  3. Simple: print from mobile with tested profile, zero concerns.
  4. PETG optimized: model and profile. Only PETG can survive filament dryer temperatures, so PETG (or warmer filament) is advised.
  5. I took the time for mods, speed and quality testing. Even seams were tested, numbers of layers, cooling, flow, slower bridges, elephant foot even was perfected. Did I mention better z-hop spiral to prevent stringing? ;)
  6. Small but efficient: small qty of silica gel beads have maximized ventilation surface. Ventilation surface is optimized for print speed and savings by design (thanks @Midnightm3d & @Gdrag) + savings in dehumidifying silica gel. No need to have it 60mm high. 20mm height can also do the job.
  7. No worries: print was modified by perfectionist and tested on 7 rounds, optimized upon each time. No surface ruptures possible, slowed down where needed, better cooled bridges, no stringing, no sagging bridges, no detached first layer. Ready to be perfect (or ludicrously fast) printed well.

What changed in this remix? 
1. Shaved off the part of sidewalls above 1cm, using Bambu studio only.

2. Nothing :) This model was already almost perfect: the size, threads, cap, ventilation holes not too small, not too big, safe overhangs, on ventilation holes perfect config (longer slit & shorter pillar for less material needed).
