Description

This is a rework of Nat's Case for AG13 / SR44 / LR44 / A76.

While still a print-in-place design, it now features a friction front latch to close the case. This makes it easier to open, reducing the likelihood of all the batteries flying out due to excessive use of force.

You have the option to choose from 5 different sizes, based on the number of batteries you need to store: 8, 10, 12, 14, or 16 (the one from the pictures is Size 10)

Given the tight tolerances, it's best to print using a 0.2mm layer height profile.

Print Profile

Had to print twice. Print profile had no support turned on. I trusted it, but the bridge for the clasp lip did not turn out well. Printed 2nd time, added support printed perfect. As another stated, I do wish the clasp was flush with the bottom. Over all served its purpose

Support Issue:I needed to turn on support to bridge gap for clasp latch. No supports turned on for profile.

Sorry it did not work for you, I’m not sure why as it printed fine without supports for my testing. I will take a second look though.

It was this area that could have benefited from the supports. Could be my printed just not dialed in well enough for that long of a bridge. For a more universal solution, regular supports in this area worked perfect. That way others whose printers not dialed don't have any issues either
