Description

This is a replacement battery door for Olympus Mju Zoom 70

It is a drop in replacement for the original one. Replacement procedure does not require you to take the camera apart.

I printed it with PLA, but it would be best to print with PETG as PLA deforms with continuous loads

Assembly instructions:

1.Drill out the hinges with a 1.5mm drill

2. Use a knife to pry out the little plastic cover that keeps the hinge pin in place.

3.Pull out the hinge pin with side cutters or needle nose pliers

4.Install the pin and glue the pin cover on with rubbery glue (do not use super glue, it will be on there forever)

Enjoy!

The battery cover has a cut out for a seal, it does not fit the original camera seal. I am exploring possible options on how to make this seal with gasket maker.

If you wish to experiment with TPU, I have included a model that includes the seal as a separate object
