Description

Low-Poly model of a 1969 Dodge Charger 500 HEMI. Included are functional double-arm suspension, Print-In-Place wheels, and three different rims to adorn your wheels. This staple of American muscle cars is at roughly 1:25 scale. Tolerances may not fit correctly if scaled up or down.

If you are using the print profiles, I have prepared. Print one of either the AMS or non-AMS, and one of the rim sets.

All models are grouped and oriented for printing. Supports are only needed for the body. I highly suggest using organic. All items can be printed at a .2mm layer height; for better quality, use .1mm for the rims.

Included is a .3mf of the body prepared for Multi-Material Printers. I used only four colors: Grey for accents and headlights, Red for the taillights, Black for the windows, and Green for the body. Feel free to mix them up!

Modular Cars is a series of models with interchangeable parts such as wheels, rims, and suspensions. See more here: Modular Cars.

Edit #1: Increased tolerances of the wheels for smoother function.

9/10 Great car fun to play with; but had to print the car at 150% scale for wheels to work.

Thanks for the feedback! I've updated the tolerances on the wheels, they should be ready to roll!

After removing the small piece in the tire at the attachment point, I am having a REALLY hard time getting the wheels to go on the suspension pieces and have now broken 3 suspension pieces in the process. What am I doing wrong?!
