Description

This is a version of the XTouch Flip model by DrewDeeDoo that can be found on Printables at:

https://www.printables.com/model/576209-xtouch-flip

I modeled this to work with the JC8048W550C_I 5-inch screen to be used with xtouch. The fork I used for this can be found at:

https://github.com/Adaaks/XTouch-5-Inch?tab=readme-ov-file

The .3mf file has 2 screens on one plate, the top screen on the plate is designed to be used with heat-set inserts while the bottom one is designed to have the bolts bite directly into the plastic. The original screen can still be used with this model. I have modeled a hole in the side for the USB-C port, one in the bottom for access to the SD card, and one in the back to allow for access to the boot and reset buttons. I did power the screen with the included JST1.25 4pin cable. To do this I had to carve out a little bit on the default screen plastic on the bottom, which can be seen in the 4th photo.

For the screen plate modeled with heat set inserts you will need:

4 M2*4*3.2 heat set inserts

4 M2x16mm bolts

4 M2 washers

For the screen plate modeled without heat set inserts you will need:

4 M3x16mm bolts

If you did want to use this model with the 2.8 inch screen there is an adapter on the first plate that is designed to use M3*6*5 Heat set inserts

I just found this update for the Riser V2 that works perfectly on the P1s. AMS Riser V2 Front Panels for BigTree Tech Screen: https://makerworld.com/en/models/572157?from=search#profileId-492320

great model. it’s probably my machine’s tolerances but the latching doesn’t work when the mount is on the printer, it’s too toght.

I tried to make it tight so it wouldn’t accidentally flip down. Soon I can upload another backplate with the latch features lower for easier latching

I bought an adapter on Amazon that converts the 4 pins to USB and plugged in into the 5V plug built into the printer
