AMS feeding funnel protector / AMS Trichterschutz

Here's the protector for the AMS 2 Pro.

Update Version 2.0!

• Easier funnel assembly (but it's harder to remove)
• flatter model (AMS lid now has approx. 1mm clearance)
• Support structure not necessary for printing, but recommended

Update Version 1.1!

• several new designs have been added
• the actuator has been slightly trimmed and the hose outlet optimized (reports that the AMS no longer closes properly)
• no support structure needed anymore

Due to high demand, here is my funnel protector for the AMS. The design is a bit more robust than other models online. Once it's in place, the protector is difficult to remove. ;-)

Printed in PETG, with support structure (only old profile, new profile doesn't require it). I found that PETG does not break as easily during assembly. Additionally, the protector then sits rock-solid.

During assembly, make sure that the rear part (part with logo) is threaded in first. It's best to remove the filament spool and push the funnel forward.

Then press the front part down until it clicks into place. 

Next, insert the PTFE tube all the way in. Finally, install the AMS Helper. Done!!
