Akkuträger für Ladehalterung Hompany-Staubsauger

I have designed a charging dock for the Hompany cordless vacuum cleaner.

Many find it inconvenient to constantly remove the charging cable (plug) from the battery to remove the vacuum cleaner from the charging station, or to reinsert the charging plug into the battery after placing the vacuum cleaner in the charging station.

Wouldn't it be wonderful to have a charging station like those from Dyson and similar brands? Simply place the vacuum cleaner in the station, and it charges—no more fiddling with charging cables/plugs…

This is where my charging station with battery holder comes in:

The vacuum cleaner can be placed in the charging station as usual and charges automatically.

However, some assembly is required (original vacuum cleaner components do not need to be modified, thus avoiding warranty issues in case of defects).

I designed the charging station to use a battery holder with small wiring to spring contacts; the counterpart of the contact strip is located in the actual charging station and is connected to the original Hompany charger with a short jack cable—no modification to the original electronics is necessary.

The charging station can be mounted on the wall as usual (near a power outlet) and, in addition to the charging function, also offers two slots for the two included brush attachments, which can be clicked in as usual.
