This project was started as I searched a lamp for my son's room in a galaxy, ufo, alien style… and I couldn't find the right one…
During my design studies, I tried to combine the BambuLab lamp kit 001 with an alexa echo, and also wanted to integrate a lithophane as ufo beam and cable passage for the alexa, which corpus will enthrone in the middle of the ufo.
As you can see, this is the result of my endeavor.
An Island with embedded lamp kit 001 is the basis of my “UFO”, next a lithophane as ufo “gravitation ray” goes up in the air and shows the power by levitation of cows, rocks and houses…. looks very detailed even with a 0.4er nozzle hq print) ;)))
The Picture of the Lithophane was initially generated by AI but eddited via Photoshop. . adding lots of details like the hovering house and the car at the side..
The basic lithophane tube then was generated via Online Tool Lithomaker: https://tool.itslitho.com/CreateModel, and edited via meshmixer because of the huge amount of triangle 3d model data I wanted to preserve.
( As special gimmick you can add another glow in the dark tube into the ray, so that the gravitation beam will also be highlighted by night [optional print addon] ). At the top of the ray you will see the dark grey ufo as mount for an alexa echo (we have 4th and 5th gen models and both will works well with this design) ;)
Both the island and ufo are very well connected to the beam by only twisting the component into its holder. I personally used a wlan power plug to switch on the “death ray” via voice command: “ALEXA SWITCH UFO ON”
The ufo can also be modified for nightflights by adding 12 small glow in the dark triangles into its body… (looks really great and glows several hours in the dark).

Special Request Add-On
On Request I added a NON-Alexa Version of the UFO (Version 2.0 - print) which has slight improved top shell print quality (dynamic layer), but the main fact ist that there is a hole in the bottom to let the light flow from the LED (in the island) up to the top bulb (alexa replacement ORB) -→ I also created 4 Alexa-replacements versions (2 PETG translucent glass look / 1 glow-in the dark / 1 normal PLA)
