Description
Pouring basin mould I use for metalcasting. I use sand mixed with sodiumsilicate to make the basin. See picture.
I have very good casting results using this very simple pouring basin. You can use woodfiller to smooth out the layerlines to make it release better (it works ok without), use talk or similar as release agent.
