P1S / X1C Sealed Poop Shute

This custom-designed 3D model is specifically created to catch purged plastic blobs from the back of Bambu FDM 3D printers, such as the P1S and X1C. The primary goals of this model are to contain purged plastic blobs effectively and help seal the printer to contain heat and fumes.

Features:

• Custom Fit: This model is designed to fit my specific P1S and X1C printers. Due to potential variations in printer models, I cannot guarantee a perfect fit for all units. To address this, I have included a test fit model that can be quickly printed with minimal filament to verify compatibility before committing to the full model.

   

• Two Versions: The P1S model fits my printer perfectly. However, the X1C model required a 10mm reduction in size to fit properly. This might be specific to my Kickstarter edition, and production models might not have this issue. Therefore, there are two versions available.

   

• Magnet Test Fit Piece: Magnets are optional, but if you plan to use them, print the test piece first. The holes are sized to 10.4mm, allowing for ample tolerance, especially when printing in a vertical orientation. Designed for 10mm x 2mm round magnets.

   

• Material Recommendation: The model was designed and tested with PLA filament, and I recommend using this material. If you choose to print with other materials, tolerances may need adjustment. To accommodate these changes, I have included STEP files for you to modify in your preferred CAD software.

   

• Supports: Supports are technically not needed if you print this in PLA. You may get a tiny bit of sagging along the top of the upper lip, but it won't impact functionality at all. Take a look at the picture of mine to get an idea of what I mean.
