Yoshi and Egg - Multi Part
Print Profile(8)

Description
Introducing Yoshi, Mario’s friendly buddy!
Yoshi is one of my favorite characters, bringing back memories of childhood. I vividly recall booting up the SNES on Christmas morning, jumping straight into Super Mario World, and being amazed by its 16bit high resolution! But then there was Yoshi, who added a whole new dimension to the game with his unique charm.
I've designed this 3D model to allow Yoshi to hold various items. In this download, you'll find the Yoshi egg, which can either be attached to his hand using a pin or balanced without a hole in the egg. I encourage others to create items that fit in Yoshi's hand, but please upload only the item model without uploading a remix of Yoshi himself.
At 100% scale, Yoshi stands 7.5" (189mm) and 5.4" (136mm) deep. The egg is 1.8" (46mm)
If you want to scale him larger I dont see any issues. If you scale him smaller the pins may become tighter so you might need to scale those down 1% more.
Different Print Profiles:
- Yoshi with egg and pin holes for attaching items
- Solid hand
- Egg with no hole
Colors Used:
- Elegoo: Matte White, Matte Black, PLA Pro Green, Orange, Yellow
- Creality Hyper Red
-Creality Hyper Green ( For egg spots)
Printing Tips:
I consistently use a glue stick to secure prints to the bed, which greatly improves adhesion. Supports and rafts are recommended for the green head, green body, arm (supports only, no rafts for a flush fit), green legs (rafts), white belly (supports), lower face (supports), and orange scales (rafts).
Assembly Tips:
- Parts with arrows should face upwards (e.g., white shell ring, orange scales).
- Scales are labeled as T (Top), M (Middle), B (Bottom).
- The egg spots are numbered for easy assembly.
Assembly Steps:
1. Glue the white belly to the green body.
2. Insert square pegs into the white body, then attach and glue the legs.
3. Attach the yellow soles to the orange boots, then glue the legs into the boots as hes standing so hes even.
4. Insert the peg into the arm and choose whether to use the arm with or without a hole, then glue.
5. Glue the white shell ring to the body (arrow pointing up), then attach the red shell.
6. Glue the green head to the white head part, then attach the nose.
7. Construct the eyes (pay attention to left and right) and glue them into the head, followed by attaching the orange scales with the arrows pointing up.
9. Glue head pin into head (solid part), then press into body.
9. If using the pin in Yoshi's hand, either glue it on or ensure a snug fit, then attach the egg with the pin.
