Description

A duck chlorine float for a pool. It is designed to hold up to 5x 3" x 1" chlorine tablets.

I used the wild duck model from printables and added the chlorine holder features.

I recommend printing the model with PETG as it is chemical and UV resistant.

I printed it using a 0.6 nozzle, .3 layer height, 3 wall layers, and 10% infill.

It should also work with 0.4 nozzle, 0.2 layer height, 4 wall layers, and 10% infill.

I printed it large. supports were a pain but I know what to change for next time. floats great

I did the top in pla and the bottom tablet holder in abs. I know the pla will degrade but it looks nice. sharpie marker for eyes

What size should I debate printing it if I'm only going to use 1-2 infills and 4 wall layers and 10% infill in PETG float

great! printed at full size in Petg translucent, should have sized it down a little as the compartment now is really big for the amount of chlorine tablets I will have to use in the pool, but that’s on me 😀
