Description

Just a big ole oversized iPad mount for next to the bed or whatever. Tried bearing at first but it was way too smooth and free floating. This it what it came to.

am I doing something wrong? why are the pins significantly smaller than the holes? I didn't change anything on the print. the slightest bump from underneath would knock everything off the pins. please advice me on my user error 😅

if these were threaded with wingnuts so you can adjust the tesnsion, that would make sense

There should be a bushing there somewhere. I used TPU but any material could be used.

The result is truly splendid I have subtly increased the incline of the iPad support and integrated an additional stabilizing wedge This will find its purpose within a recreational vehicle My sincere thanks

That worked great The print with standard PETG However, I removed the connecting pins and replaced them with holes, because I would like to use screws

It looks like the program is supposed to automatically generate those files...and it looks like that one is inaccessible. I will upload the .stl for the bracket.

Can we use PLA with this or it would need to be another design?

Am I supposed to generate supports for the main holder the orange part?

Would it be possible to get a revised version in which the round pins are significantly thicker? I'm a bit worried that it will break if there's too much load on it. Example a large iPad. Otherwise great work!

I’ve used mine since I posted it. iPad in an otter box. I did print the bushings in tpu though. Still 100%. Often have the arm at 90 degrees to the wall.

this is a great piece I use it daily. wish there was a piece to hold the tpu pieces in place though. like a thin nut threaded printable. it would make this a 5 star piece. Very sturdy can hold small ipad with no problem

I’ll review this model. My drawing skills have become more advanced since that design. You when the TPU bushings, right?
