Description

Five Color (AMS) NES - Voxel Duck Hunt, innovative game that allowed a controller gun to select sprites (i.e. ducks) over a game area (i.e. nature).

WARNING: There is a pause in layer 21, once it pauses switch Blue with Red!

The model was algorithmically generated with some manual tweaks. (Contact if you like more models like this, perhaps your favourite retro game.) Optimized for 0.4mm nozzle, The model only requires less than 5-6 filament switches.

Second WARNING: Well, a recommendation for a stand, you can use my other model :) → https://makerworld.com/en/models/478583#profileId-389812 . This is highly recommended and looks super nice.

EDIT 17/07/2024: There is a color corrected version, that fixes some minor issues with the model. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I used:

Color #1: PLA Basic (Red)

Color #2: PLA Basic (Black)

Color #3: PLA Matte (White)

Color #4: PLA Basic (Green)

Color #5: PLA Basic (Blue)

Smooth PEI Sheet is recommended for bed adhesion!

For all NES fans out there, enjoy!

Thanks for the boost, and it looks even better than my pictures. Which frame did you use for this? (It'd be great to share this with others as it looks awesome.)

Printed perfectly, thanks for the instructions on the layers. I wish I could print bigger so I could put a frame around it =)

Wow it's really cool and I found it after doing something a lot more simplistic from another NES game that I love. Must be a really nice technique you have for making these.

Thanks for the boost! It took a while to perfect it, however if you are interested in another NES game, I may be able to craft a new model for you.
