Description

I edited the original model to printthis helmet with the least amount of support. I added some bevels to eliminate overhangs and flattened the inside of the helmet so as to make a bridge that didn't require supports. The only support present is for the right ear. As shown in the photo, the orange parts need to be eliminated: the support at eye level could be a little difficult to remove, you could help yourself with a dremel.

The accessories are in the other .3mf file and are made with sequential printing to drastically reduce the number of purges, so don't be scared if you print one component at a time.

Before starting to print the helmet, check if your head fits well printing the dimension test

If you don't want to spend money for this item, you can print your own visor (in the profiles list), but the result could not be perfect.

Thanks! First, I sprayed it with a silver spray paint and then sealed it with a sealing spray. Then I blocked out all of the colors with cheap acrylic paint. Once that dried, I was able to scratch off the acrylic in places I wanted with the back of an xacto knife, and you can see the silver underneath. Once that felt good, I gave it one final sealing coat.

impressive to do this without interior supports. was not sure it would work at full size. used every bit of build space in my A1. also did a mini version which came out really well.

Bought the P1S specifically to make a Boba helmet. This was my 4th print using the printer and had zero previous 3d printing experience. Seeing it all come together was awesome. I collected the paint and weathering style of all the helmets (ROTJ, ESB and book of boba). Home Depot Spray Paint and some acylic paint. Still working on the antenna, I would like to make it friction lock

if you go on Amazon and search “tinted visor” you’ll find a bunch of splash visors, you just have to trace a template, cut it and glue it in place!

My first long and biggest print by far, was quite worried constantly checking on the app watching and worrying.. Safe to say it printed amazing! An now have the confidence on printing larger and longer prints! Ps helmet fits my big head and supports where the visor is were pretty easy to remove also, highly recommend this print!
