StarScream - Transforming Jet

UPDATE! (2024-07-13) THIS IS THE FULL LAUNCH: The 6-color version is here. I still advise printing the 8hr single-color model to ensure you are happy before committing to the 61hr+ multi-color prints.

UPDATE! (2024-08-05) Looser Fit Launch: A second build plate - Looser Fit V32 Rev C has been added to the file. All articulating features have been loosened to address fusing issues. 

Profile Options:

• Single Color - Verified. Seeing various results with different material brands. Rev B hopefully addresses issues.  
• 6 Color 1-AMS - Verified! Be a bit more careful as color splits could fail if handled too aggressively. 
• 5 Color 1-AMS - I have not printed it, however, I just moved the wings to a separate plate and colored the cockpit blue. 
• 6 Color 1-AMS - I have not printed it, however, it's the same as the 5-color profile but with a pause at 22h30m. At the pause change the blue spool for the yellow (or whatever colors you use).

! PROFILE OPTION CAUTION !

Any additional profile that does NOT have 4 wall loops with 25%  Gyroid infill does not have my approval. Early development strength tests failed in this configuration. Print at you're own risk! Faster is not always better.

Materials Used:

Single Color

• Black (Charcoal) - Bambu Matte 11101 (amazing quality and dimensional stability) 
• Tripple-color - R, G, B - Eryone Silk (Looks great, worked well with the “Looser Fits” version)

6 Color 

• Grey - Ziro Pro (color is awesome, dimensional stability not great, lots of stringing, supports difficult to remove) 
• Red - Bambu Tough (discontinued but I had it on hand, too stiff for the legs friction plug, good quality)
• Blue (Cyan) - Bambu Basic 10603 (noncritical sections, looks great, prints great)
• Black (Charcoal) - Bambu Matte 11101 (noncritical sections, prints great) 
• White (Ivory) - Bambu Matte 111000 (noncritical sections, prints great) 
• Yellow - Overture  (noncritical sections, the specific color I wanted, slightly transparent - can see a bit of grey underneath) 

The profile has been sliced to these specific materials. Please ensure you change the materials to the brands, types, and colors you are printing. This model has only been printed in PLA at the original scale.
