Low-Profile Dewalt Drill Belt Clip
Print Profile(3)

Bill of Materials
Description
I store my drills and other Dewalt tools standing up on mounts and I hated that the included clips with the drills sit too low to allow for this. So I just didn't use them. After a little while I missed having the option to hang my tool off my belt/pocket so I finally sat down and made this super simple clip! This clip sits flush with the bottom of the handle and the contour of the drill mount itself! I like this much better and have already printed a bunch for friends who had the same gripe, or just wanted to add a little color to their drill to mark that it's theirs!
I've included two print profiles here. One that is single color and print super fast and another that lets you put a strip of another color in the clip! I don't have an AMS, so that multi color profile just utilizes pauses to unload and load another filament. Enjoy!
Hardware needed:
1x 3x12 Metric Screw per clip
NOTE: If altering my print profile I do not recommend changing any wall/infill settings. Otherwise they clip may not be strong enough. I did a decent amount of testing and came up with a profile that is surprisingly strong! You'd be challenged to try and break the clip with your hands…
