Sim Racing Handbrake Grip Adapter - Drift - Rally

This design was made so that I could fix a mountain bike grip to my E-Brake on my racing simulator.

The grip I used is the “GPMTER Rubber Hand Grip” on Amazon.
 

You will need to drill a hole through the upper handle to get this mod to work, but the installation is very easy if you follow these instructions:

Installation instructions:

- Remove stock foam grip off - Note the single hole that is hidden underneath the foam grip; we will be using that later.
- Remove the two bolts holding the upper handle to the lower handle
- Turn the upper handle upside-down so that the single hole under the grip is now facing down.
- Re-attach the upper handle with one bolt through the single hole 
- Mark where the second hole will be drilled on the handle, remove handle, and drill the hole.  It is cheap aluminum so this step is easy. 
- Re-attach it to the ebrake with the two bolts you removed earlier
- Slide the printed adapter on
- Slide the grip over the adapter and then tighten the machine screw at the bottom of the handle
- The last step is to insert the 3d printed plug on top of the handbrake and you are done!
