What is it?

This is a reproduction of the Apple M0110 Keyboard.

My goal is to produce a 3D version of the Apple M0110 Keyboard which is dimensionally identical to the manufactured original for the purpose of enabling the online community to repair, modify, or replace existing M0110 keyboards.

Known Issues

This version of the design has a few issues that have not yet been addressed:

• Lower Shell
  • The inner geometry / mounting points have not yet been added to the lower shell.

Open Source

The source files (Solidworks) are included in the project and is made available with condition of credit provided to the author (me!).

Future Goals

Once completed, I intend to create two variants:

1. A reproduction of the "slim" 128K Prototype Keyboard
2. An "original" low-profile version of the M0110

The Apple Keyboard M0110 reproduction model was designed with reference measurements from a real M0110 keyboard.

Each measurement was carefully taken in metric with a calibrated vernier caliper in order to accurately capture each detail, including interior geometry.

It's worth noting that the surface finish of the original plastic parts has not been reproduced.

  • The dimensional accuracy of the upper shell was improved.

  • The keyboard port and lock geometry isn't added yet.
  • The inner geometry does not currently reflect the (squared) inner geometry of the actual shell.
  • The lower chamfer on the rounded corners does not resolve on a horizontal plane (they are noticeably a wavy).
