Description

Around 3 years ago I designed the shurikens of ice from ninjago to teach myself CAD (I know thats a goofy first project). The bottom surface quality wasn't great, so I decided to split it top/bottom to share here, but also am sharing the original.

Printed using Overture Gold Silk pla, and pictures are before sanding/gloss paint coat and currently without crystals, although they fit great in the original(Just need to buy them).

Used default bambu settings for silk pla with no support. If you want higher detail, dropping the layer height or slowing down the print would definately help.

The pins are a good snap fit, so you have to use a little force, but your not going to hurt the print pushing the two halves together. I guess if you really want to, you could use glue, but it is definately not necessary.

OPTIONAL:

Little blue crystals can be put in the 6 moustache holes:

The pegs should be press fit into the holes. If not, some glue could help

I don't know if I'm missing something here, but when I open the file in BambuSlicer I only have the top half of the shuriken. There's no bottom half or pins to snap into place. I'm assuming it's the top half because a T prints on the underside. Help?

Hey, sorry for the issue. That's my bad. I'm still getting used to the Makerwold format and uploaded in an incorrect way. There is now separate print profiles for the bottom and connectors. Hope this works better for you now, and make sure to let me now if you have any other issues.

Thank you very much for adding the other two files. They printed great! I printed for a martial arts instructor who loves Ninjago and she absolutely loved them! I printed two so she could dual wield, but only took a picture of the first to finish.

I made a sword of fire a while ago, but it would need some minor updates before I released the files. I’ll recomment here when I get around to it.
