Description

Most of the little containers for dessicant (or aromatics like potpourri) have interrupted walls that take forever to print, often result in stringing, and are also weak. With this perforation design, each layer prints as uninterrupted perimeter lines which print quickly and without drama, and the final product is quite strong.

I've provided files for two sizes: a small one 30mm in diameter x 48mm tall, and a large one 50mm in diameter x 78mm tall. Each can be scaled somewhat up or down. Each also includes a screw-top lid.

Pro tip: the 3MF file I provided has the lid and the bottom of the bottle printed solid. To make these perforated too, just set the number of solid top and bottom layers to zero and then select the infill type and density to get the desired sized holes.

Printed in sport mode once past the lid. Nice fast printing so thanks for this design as lid snaps on nice and tight.

Nice print! Actually, the lid should screw on, but I won't argue if you want to snap it on.

Printed perfectly in Bambu PETG. The lids screw on smoothly and tighten snugly.

it was pretty, but the first test squeeze (and not even very hard) on the large bottle and it split in two. The smaller one didn't, though. It FEELS strong, but doesn't stand up as well as I'd hoped. However, if used for something that isn't going to be compressed, I think it would be just fine. It does look really good - and the lid screwed on easily and held snugly. Thanks for the cool design!!

Very inspirational, though I didn't print this exact model. Still fighting with getting it 'perfect' for my application. Super-slick work here!
