Hummingbird feeder Ant Moat

Description
I improved an existing Hummingbird Feeder Ant trap design because I didn't want to use mug hooks, which I felt would eventually fail due to high temperatures and constant loading with the failure occurring either at the hook threads creeping out or the center shaft breaking at a layer line. While you can still use screw-in hooks, I wanted to use a single piece of wire pushed through the center of the cup and then shaped into hooks at the ends—this way the full load is on the wire and none on the plastic. I included ample fillets at the interface to help the cup center shaft survive the loading while bending the wire. I had a 1/8" stainless steel rod lying around so I used that. An aluminum rod would have been easier. Wire from a coat hanger might do the trick too, I don't know. The center hole is 3mm in diameter. I drilled it out for a slip fit for my 1/8" rod. If your wire is thinner you may have to fill the gap to keep the ants from taking that path.
