Description

A miniature for tabletop players showing a human male monk.

The miniature comes in 3 variations:

- with round base (_rb)

- with square base (_sb)

- with hexagonal base (_hb)

The printprofiles contains all 3 version on 3 printplates.

I printed them all successfully with minimal support, that is easy to remove.

Hello everyone, I am new to the world of 3D printing and have bought an A1 mini. What do I need to do to print this model with the A1 mini?

You don't need anything special. Open the print profile in Bambu Studio. As it is for the P1P, you'll have to change that to your A1. A dialog will appear (Use Modified Value of Process Preset). Click 'Use Modified Values'. If you use a different filament, choose that filament. Then slicee the build plate and print. Some hints: The filament should be in good condition (dry). Don't print too fast. I did all prints with standard speed (100%). Removing supports: To remove the support structures, I recommend using a fine, pointed side cutter, such as those offered for model making. Do not try to remove entire tree structures at once; instead, work from the bottom up. First, cut the thick trunks of these structures and separate each individual branch. By doing this, you can minimize leverage when removing the support structures. For a beginner, you have chosen a challenging model, as having some experience would be beneficial, especially for the support structures of the crossbow. Nevertheless, have fun!

The only reason it’s not a five star review is that there seems no way to remove the supports under the arm with the crossbow, without at least slightly damaging the crossbow and stress flexing the wrist/arm. otherwise, it’s a cool little mini that I hope primer and paint will disguise the damage.

Very detailed model, printed pretty well on the 0,2mm nozzle! first attempt at something like this, crossbow broke a bit when trying to get the supports off, but really just 1 drop of superglue and its perfect. Nice job!

nice print bit I'd suggest using the support filament. the supports were extremely difficult to tale off

The crossbow on her hand does take a bit of work to separate from the supports and is quite thin, need to be careful around that. Quality print otherwise!
