Finally got around to printing this model. Scaled it by -50mm vertically only for a specific purpose…. To sift the dust out of wood pellets for my pellet grill/smoker!! 🤣 Printed well in PETG and worked perfectly in a 5 gal bucket.

This has to be the most industrial sized cat litter scoop I've ever seen. This will probably also work quite well for Lion cr*p. I decided to go 80's disco themed with mine, so I used the translucent PETG from Bambu. Love it. Thanks for this design!

This is a pretty neat design that is certainly robust! I do find it difficult to use though and need to come up with a technique to not make so much dust. Despite buying the most expensive litter I still get dust everywhere. I have been using a large spaced metal scoop that I keep really low to the litter to filter out the clumps. I find with this the holes are more fine and it sifts well but holds a lot of litter around the bigger clumps. I have to shake it to sift, hence the dust.

Use Bentonite clay agglomerate; it's superior in every aspect These are small granules of clay, sold for cat litter

If you scoop and scrape the bottom, then very slowly rise up whilst shaking left to right, this way a lot can get through without falling from a distance. Always keep the scoop as low as possible, drag it across the surface, a millimeter above. Hope this helps!

Replying to @user_2945708789 :
I tend to use corn litter It regrows and can be biologically disposed of Bentonite is extracted from our earth only to be disposed of as residual waste Absolutely uneconomical

Great model. I ran out of filament near the end, but I think it looks nice that way.

Came out great in PETG-CF! I printed this for my brother and haven't used it myself yet, but he said it gets pretty heavy if you scoop too much litter at once, but was still better than the one he was using before, so I'll take it! haha
