Description

David Bowie style lightning earrings I made for my fiancé.

 

There's a small 4mm indent in the back of them to glue the 4mm earring stud in to give it more grip. I used a tiny amount of superglue and that worked well.

0.2mm nozzle, 0.08mm layer, 4 walls, 15% infill
printed without a problem with blue sunlu PLA and gold/red/purple eryone PLA. In my opinion i thing the finish of the top surface would look better if printed on the plate.

Cute print. I needed something to go with this “Bowie cat” tee and these were perfect. I actually remixed them to make them 20% larger, and moved the indent higher and enlarged it to accommodate posts with 6mm backs (since that’s what I have on hand).

The 4mm studs are too big. You’ll need to find something smaller.
