Description
This a true-to-size ace of spades playing card. My Ender 3 Pro does not have to capability to print dual colors, so I had to experiment with stopping the print and changing the filament. I did this by adding a g-code script in Cura, (a lot easier than I thought it would be), to stop the print after the white body of the card then changed to black PLA and resumed the print. I also tried printing the white body, ending the print, changing the filament, and then changing the home offset on my printer to start the next print at the desired height (+1.5mm). This also worked well. Fun print for my first time experimenting with multi-colored prints!
As for all my prints, I am using an Ender 3 Pro with a 0.4mm nozzle and upgraded boden tubing, springs, and a Creality glass print bed. I used Cura 5.4 software and the following settings to slice this model.
Print Settings:
- Layer Height: 0.2mm
- Nozzle Temperature: 215°C
- Bed Temperature: 55°C
- Initial Layer Speed: 30 mm/s
- Print Speed: 50 mm/s
- Retraction: Enabled
- Print Bed Adhesion: Skirt
- Infill: 20%
