Description

A dream I've had since I was a child, to be able to create my own spinning top exactly as I wanted and finally here it is. Simple and quick to print, can be assembled in just a few steps and actually works, it is perfect for playing with friends or children.

It can be used with the original launcher and the pieces are interchangeable with real beyblades!!

Model Design: - it's great. very printable. supports, where needed, were easy to remove (none of the nasty hardships you might expect) - this design appears to be compatible with the original Beyblades, not the "Beyblade burst" tops my kids use today. that's unfortunate, but definitely my own fault for not looking more closely before printing. Print Profile: - all i changed was the filament (swapped to the polymaker silk PLA that I have on hand) - printed perfectly on my P1P with a textured PEI plate (the default plate that comes with this model printer) - post assembly i'm not sure whether the top screw is really threading onto something or if it's just binding up; perhaps a small teak to the "x-y-hole compensation" would help ensure the screw really threads into place? I can't confirm that it holds together well when launched because I don't have a compatible launcher. if all you have are Beyblade burst" launchers, like me, then you'll be in the same boat. I might just have to buy an original launcher on ebay or something to try this out with though! :) Photos attached: 1. model on the build plate 2. assembled model after ~1 minute removing support materials (quick and easy!) 3. model attempting to fit model on Beyblade burst launcher (doesn't fit; I should have recognized this before printing)

Thank you, I really appreciate your review. I will post a video of the rolling beyblade soon and, I'm currently designing some new parts in order to enhance its customizability. Soon, i will even design a launcher to complete the currente project.

My son likes it. Good model, but the support inside the tip of the spinning top is hard to remove.

My son loves it. I am having trouble with the screw as well, but I found that his generic Beys are compatible. Combining some store bought parts with the 3d printed chassis worked great!

They needed weight so I used a ring from a regular beyblade and glued them together

it's plastic, how much did you think it would weigh?

It would not spin enough to stay balanced.
