Due to some comments in the comments section, I will no longer reply to any comments from now on!If you can understand the introduction, you will be able to obtain the complete model. If you cannot obtain the model, I will not provide any further explanation.

Halo is the most classic and popular OTF knife from Microtech, renowned for its exquisite structure and elegant design. I have created this 3D printed model and transformed it into a comb (for a harmonious look, you can also download the STL file of the original blade here).
You will need a 0.3X4X10mm spring, a 0.8X7X150mm spring (springs of similar specifications can be utilized, but you need to ensure they are compatible), and 8 M2x10 self-tapping screws. This model is designed using Bambu PLA. As the shrinkage rate of each filament can vary, you may need to refine some minor details when using alternative filaments. If the blade does not lock into place due to insufficient spring tension, you can gently shake the knife while pressing the button to eject the blade, ensuring it locks properly.

Please be sure to comply with your local laws and do not use the model for inappropriate purposes.

Under the new reward mechanism, please "Boost Me" more, give me five-star praise, and welcome everyone to share and show off their finished works, so that I can get more points. Your support is my biggest motivation to continue designing more models.

Reminder:

  • Different filaments may cause the parts to be too loose or too tight, and may also make some supports difficult to remove.
  • The position of the model printing takes into account strength and appearance (for example: vertical surfaces have better fineness and better representation of patterns and text; horizontal printing axes sacrifice accuracy but have better strength).
  • Please keep the printing plate clean. All models are confirmed to be printable. It's not my fault if it turns into spaghetti.
  • It is recommended that you equip yourself with a heat gun. Slightly heating the parts can solve many minor problems and can also compensate for minor part tolerances.

hi, I ordered all the springs listed. the large 150 mm spring won’t squish all the way down because it is too strong. how thick should the wire of the spring be?

Other Issues:Not necessarily bed adhesion but the charging handle kept peeling up and off of the mesh support that was adhered to the bed plate. Some of the hardware failed and the blade might need to be reprinted but the handles printed great! thank you!
