Description

Why

The supplied silicone head mount for my Armytek Wizard wasn't very good. They've since updated the design, but it's often out of stock and shipping is expensive....

...So I made my own!

Compatibility

I've designed (and tested) this with the Armytek Wizard Pro, but it should work equally well for the Skilhunt 03 and other 18650-based flashlights. Basically anything with a diameter ~20-22mm.

The ever-popular Convoy S2 will also fit, but I do recommend that you scale up the print by ~10% to get a stronger hold.

My version works with the stock armytek headband, but feel free to make your own out of some elastic material.

Open source

The original design (fusion360) is included, so feel free to improve it.

(But beware that it's my first real design in a CAD application so it probably won't make much sense...)

Update: added a rounded version for more comfort

25% - 2mm minimum infill length

Notes:

I printed this with yellow Hatchbox PETG at 25% infill, 40mm/s and 237 c.

I'd say this makes it strong enough to hold up under normal use, but time will tell.

I reckon PLA users should print at max. infill, which shouldn't impact print times too much in any case.
