Kinetic Sculpture Keychain Fidget - Print in Place

I have meticulously poured over this design to make sure its perfect! Confirmed prints on all Bambu lab machines now!

2 versions:

Single Colour

Layer Change version

* You can make each block a different colour (up to you to do this)

I made this model after walking down the road and having a random thought about how these mechanisms work. A few
hours later I was able to make my first prototype.

PLA, PLA+ is fine, I have not tested in anything stronger.

This is version 3 - tested thoroughly, and will only get smoother to spin as you use it more!

The orientation in which it is printed is critical! Do not change any settings and expect it to print correctly, the tolerances are finely adjusted in the model and the print profile!

A1 Mini

Very cool and unique. The hotter bed on the A1 Mini and using a dual extrusion made it a bit more challenging to get the segments loose...but it's already worth it!

did you change the layer heights at all? if not I’ll take the profile down and retest it on my A1 mini now! I’ll start printing now, sorry

I think the interconnected pieces were stuck together causing them not to slide I only managed to get one slide after trying to make the seems bigger with a knife but I will re print and let you know if the print works

it still printed together with a different pla do you have any tips on how to avoid it I will try to separate them with a razor I will let you know if it works or not

printed great but seemed to fuse together and it was VERY hard to loosen them up to spin. 2 of 3 printed were like this, the other I couldnt undo.
