Description

Mega Gumdam Outfit for 1:10 scaled brick miniature

  • 320% scaled Helmet set
  • 370% Scaled Weapon set

LINK for the 1:10 miniature: https://makerworld.com/en/models/48116#profileId-50020
NOTE: The helmet on the picture is overly scaled(413%) for the original model above, so looks a little too big.

The print profile file is adjusted(320%) for model, and should have a better fit. I just don't want to waste all the filament to print the adjusted model again.

Really awesome and nostalgic design! Resized it to 175% for a Big Brick/lego figure that is closer to 6:1 than the original 10:1, but it was still slightly too big. 174% would have probably been better.

That is one NICE Eye glass and expression, is it printed with sticker or actually 3 color printing?

Good eye, it IS a sticker! I’m working on making it a 3D print though. Let me know if you’re interested and I can let you know when it’s ready!

Can also confirm the current profile for the helmet does NOT fit the Lego minifigure Update: helping anyone trying to print this, I scaled it up to 330.50% and made it fit the Lego head. The diameter of the opening of the helmet scaled up was 103.5mm whereas the Lego head is 102mm. I would scale down a little bit more if I were to do it next time for a tighter fit.

It's been a while but I remember going through a lot of trial and error by scaling the helmet to fit the lego figure i had.

had to print the helmet twice since the first time it was off. comments said 330.50% Wich was great has some wiggle room but still functional-eye plate was from a different set

this is my rendition of the Lego x gundam mega brick. I scaled the helmet to 330.50% for a perfect fit. I also used red transparent filament and added a led strip to the beam saber! the shield is a bit heavy so will have to figure out how to get it to hold up in the air. but other than that I love this print and my rendition!! thank you so much to the creator of these files!!

I did use Mitutoyo Caliper to measure my giant figure's head size, I than measure fit and tightness inside Bambu Studio, the problem I ran into is when measuring ID for the helmet, the tools inside Studio won't pick up the inner diameter's ring correctly, thus, I never really get the confidence where the helmet will fit tightly with the figure's head. What I ended up doing was to print the helmet individually with out the Spikes, braking this into two Objects and Two parts, than use slice and making sure the Gcode only run for about 20 layers so I get the ring shape of the helmet's bottom and try to fit the helmet's first 20 layers on to the head, it was perfect tight fit! Awesome design, thank you so much. When it comes down to my choice for build, I opted for Bambu Matte Charcoal, giving it a little Darth Vibes and Matte Red lusting for blood, however, after printing it out, the red looks a little more orange under my 2700k Display light. If there is one thing I would do differently, I would print the waist line in the same red color as well. I am very happy with finding this here. Once again thank you so much.

As the other user mentioned. This helmet does not fit the 10:1 model linked in the description.
