Description

Introduction

The PRUSA filament spools are just one millimetre too tight to properly fit the AMS Lite rollers. You can use them on it, but you need to push the roller with quite a lot of force and then the rollers get semi-stuck in the spool…

This is ancient history with this PRUSA-compatible spool adapter!
This design is print-in-place, snaps into place like the original rollers using the same mechanism and provides a smooth enough rolling of the spool (I tested it only in PETG wich seems to be “slippery” enough, still haven't tried in PLA).

Printer: A1 mini
Filament: Cheapest PETG I could find (TECOR orange)

Walls: 3
Infill: 10% gyroids
Supports: none

number of plates (A1 mini): All four can fit on one plate, but I choose to print them separately to reduce the impact if there's a failure
Print time: around 3 hours per roller
