Description
The original filament runout detection position on the Ender-3 V3 Plus is quite low, which makes loading filament inconvenient and causes the wire harness to droop severely. This design utilizes the higher screw holes on the original structure to move the filament runout detection module upward and modifies the filament guide tube, enabling smoother filament feeding. The filament spool can be placed freely, avoiding the issue of a top-mounted spool being top-heavy and prone to wobbling.
Requires 4 M3×10 screws. Install the two modules onto the pre-drilled higher screw holes. Cut the filament guide tube and insert it into the fixing groove. Installation is simple.
If enclosure is required, please use PETG or ABS for printing. PLA is sufficient for non-enclosed usage.
This can be combined with a side-mounted bracket to reduce the footprint of the model. Model link: https://makerworld.com/zh/models/484884#profileId-420582
