So the time turner from Harry potter seemed pretty cool and an optimal project for this contest. The first person to make a time turner for this contest is Unisqueak with this model https://makerworld.com/en/models/502367#profileId-417590, Although I had begun my design before it was posted.

The model is fully actuated like seen in the gifs. It’s important to note that the center disc will always spin to align with the axis of rotation of the inner ring, due to centrifugal forces, but it looks neat.

It’s Non AMS friendly, so it can be printed in a single print, with the center hourglass molded into the model, or in two prints, whereafter the hourglass is inserted, allowing for 2 different colors.

The spots where the axes are attached have fairly tight tolerances, so for them to spin freely like in the gifs, they need to be loosened up a bit, at least for my printer. Which just means turn it a bunch until it spins without issues.
