Introducing the Q-FOB: QR CODE-NFC TAG-FIDGET-SPINNER-FOB

Hello everyone,

I would like to introduce you to a new project today: the QR CODE-NFC TAG-FIDGET-SPINNER-FOB, or Q-FOB(Tebimaor-FOB) for short.

Many of you are probably already familiar with fidget spinners, key fobs with QR codes or key fobs with NFC chips. The Q-FOB(Tebimaor-FOB) combines all these functions in a stylish and customisable design.

What is the Q-FOB?

The Q-FOB is a 3D-printed key fob that is equipped with a QR code and an NFC tag.

What can the Q-FOB do?

- QR code: The QR code can link to any website, social network profile or other information.

- NFC tag: The NFC tag can be used to store contact information, URLs or other data.

- Fidget spinner: The Q-FOB is also a fidget spinner that you can use to play and relieve stress.

How can I configure the Q-FOB?

The Q-FOB is fully configurable with 34 settings. You can choose the QR code, the space for an NFC tag and the design of the fidget spinner yourself.

Printing instructions:

It's not as hard as it looks.

1. to have colour control over each individual part, go to the sub-item "Render" to download each part individually and then import them into Bambu Studio and merge them together.

2. render the QR code first and then the body

a. First switch off Render Body (1) and switch on the other two switches

b. Then click on Generate (2)

c. Next click on Download (3)

d. and select Download as STL (4)

3. next, render the body by switching the render body on and the other two also on.

4. next generate again, click on download and then "DOWNLOAD STL"

5. now open the files in Bambu Studio.

+++IMPORTANT+++

Make sure you get the message "Are you loading these files as a single object with multiple parts?" and answer the question with "Yes".

6. once you are done, you will find the parts already positioned on the plate and then you can decide which colour the body gets and the QR code with the frame.

7. now just print and off you go

What is needed

1. a ball bearing with the designation 6704, which has the dimensions of 27mm outside, 20mm inside and a thickness of 4mm. So 27x20x4 mm

2. NFC- TAG with a dimension NOT larger than 25x1mm, if you have and want to use other sizes, you can adjust this at the generator

3. your data that you want to enter into the QR code generator

4. a lot of imagination to print lots of great Q-FOBS

QR Code configuration:

- you can change the font on the back, display the QR code as dots or squares and the markers can also be changed according to your wishes.

- A url can be added

- email address

- telephone

- And WLAN access

- And of course your business card with lots of details that you can fill in

- And much more, take your time to look at the 34 possibilities

NFC chip:

- You need an NFC-TAG which is not larger than 25x1mm.

- With a print layer height of 0.2, the print should have a pause at the 12th layer so that you can insert the NFC-TAG at your leisure and then continue printing.

Enclosed is also a printing plate with different adapters for the right finger, in the following sizes. 18mm, 17mm, 15mm, 14mm

I have some problems : 1 when i slice it it shows me only one filament change , and didn't sees painted 2 where must be paused whith 0.2 nozle layer 24?

Hi there, firstly fantastic idea ! I am new to 3d printing and I got confused. I had hit customize and produced a QR code for my website and generated an .stl Then I downloaded the build files and set them up in Bambu Studio. I turned to Objects page and then highlighted the qr code and then right clicked and then clicked 'change type - replace with stl and chose the generated file. The qr code did not appear on the fob body ? Can you help ? Thank you and sorry for being thick !
